Quick Start
What You Need
- 2 grams ceremonial or premium matcha
- 60 to 70 ml hot water (about 75C to 80C)
- Chawan (bowl)
- Chasen (bamboo whisk)
- Fine sifter
Sift matcha: Add 2 grams of matcha through a fine sifter into your bowl.
Add warm water: Pour 60 to 70 ml water at 75C to 80C.
Whisk quickly: Use an M or W motion for 15 to 20 seconds.
Serve immediately: Drink as-is, or top with milk for a latte.
