Matcha Brewing Workflow

Use this workflow when you want reliable matcha every time.

Prep

  1. Warm your bowl and whisk with hot water.
  2. Dry the bowl lightly.
  3. Sift 2 grams matcha into the bowl.

Brew

  1. Add 60 to 70 ml water at 75C to 80C.
  2. Whisk in an M or W motion for 15 to 20 seconds.
  3. Finish with short circular strokes to smooth the foam.

Serve Options

  • Drink straight as usucha
  • Pour over ice for a cold version
  • Add steamed milk for a latte

Consistency Tips

  • Keep your ratio constant for repeatable taste
  • Taste and adjust only one variable at a time
  • Clean tools right after use to avoid stale aroma
